I did it!!

Well, I went, I conquered, I rock! Anyway, my tongue is sore simply because it is beginning to swell but I was really shocked once I had it done. I had worked myself up into such a tizzy before hand that I was going nuts for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I am proud of myself though because the piercer asked if I needed some time to chill. I told him no because I wanted to get it over with. There was another couple there and the girl walked up to the guys and asked if tongue piercings hurt. I told her that was why I was there and they asked if she wanted to watch. Once we got started, she was no where to be found lol. However, once it was all said and done, she was back out in the lobby and I reassured her that it was not anything like I expected. Then I showed it to her. I didn't flinch when he did it and he was great, talking me through the whole thing. I even watched him pierce me! Ok, I am going to get some rest for now. I will post more as things go on. I am already having some difficulty talking from the swelling and by tomorrow I am expecting my tongue to be nearly double in size. FUN! More to come later.

***Update***

I have decided to put off the other tattoo I was planning on for now. Instead, I am off to go get my tongue pierced tonight! I am a ball of nerves ugh! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't pass out or throw up on anyone! I will post how it went later...... to be continued!

Got Me A New Tatoo

For some time I had been thinking about getting another tatoo. I have a dark butterfly on my lower back, a Chinese symbol on my left shoulder blade, and a rose with big tribal tat on my neck. I needed something on my right shoulder blade to even it out. I finally decided to get another Chinese symbol so it would all balance out and go together. Well, Saturday morning I woke up with the hair up my a** to go and get it done. I went up to my usual tattoo shop and picked out a symbol that had meaning to me. I then talked to the tattoo artist and explained how I wanted it to look and what colors I wanted (I hate it when people have solid black symbols on them; just not original enough for my taste). He was intriqued by what I was asking for so he sat down for a good 45 minutes to draw it on paper first. Once we agreed on the design, off we went to get me inked. He and I both were so impressed by the way it looked that we both were taking pictures of it! I absolutely love it. I am going to go back in the next few weeks to get another on my left arm because he offered me a great deal for my next tat. I already have the tat picked out and the artist has it set aside. Oh, the meaning of this symbol is "fire". I was born in the year of the Dragon and my element is fire. I already have a tat of a dragon on my left ankle. 1976 was one of the few years where the two such strong figures were combined (according to Chinese, both mixed are considered very dangerous lol). I can't wait! 5 tattoos down, 2 more to go :)

Now I Know....

Love

Love is very patient and kind
Love is never jealous or envious
Love is never boastful or proud
Love is never haughty or selfish or rude
Love does not demand its own way
Love is not irritable or touchy
Love does not hold grudges and
will hardly even notice when others do it wrong
Love is never gald about injustice, but
rejoices whenver truth wins out
If you love someone, you will be loyal
to him/her no matter what the cost
You will always believe in him/her,
always expect the best of him/her,
and always stand your ground in defending him/her.

1 Corinthians 13:4-6

Someone that is now very dear to me has recently taught me that love doesn't hurt, is never cold, and SHOULD BE a positive thing in life. I am forever grateful to you (you know who you are). So, for those of you who don't know what love is about, this nails it on the head!

Watch Out For This Girl!

Her voice reminds me of JoJo but I have a feeling her name will be big! The girl is cute as can be but has a pair of lungs for sure!

Her name is Esmee Denters, she's 18 years old, and she lives in the Netherlands. If interested, her website is http://esmeedenters.net

Snow In North Texas

Winter has actually arrived in North Texas. It's been a couple of years since I've seen this much snow here and it is actually going to STAY! The weather is cold enough to prevent the snow from melting. So, It's a winter holiday (all schools are closed therefore I am not working today) so it will be a great day to catch up on some rest.

WHAT a night!

Ok, the photos are in. I went to the BEST club last Saturday night with an old friend of mine. We met some really cool people and of course, I was just a tad inebriated (I had about 5 Blue kamikazes.... well, that I can recall, anyway). Anyway, it was a freaking blast and I needed it so bad! The pictures are located in my comment section. Enjoy.

Yep, I am now armed AND dangerous!

Here are some pictures of Brian and I out at the farm in East Texas doing target practice. The last picture shows what I did to the can I was shooting at. The large whole was made on my first shot. I hit it every time I shot. Hopefully the idiot that decides to break in our home is holding a coke can.....
