Update On Christian

Christian sure has had a full summer along with starting a new school year in middle school. His life is changing but I couldn't be more proud. He's taking things in stride and I have already seen signs of him maturing.

Anyway during his summer vacation I allowed Christian to freely express himself which he chose to do so by using his hair lol. Here are some pictures for examples of what I am referring to.







I wanted to color his hair with blonde tips on his Mohawk but we didn't have enough time before we had to cut his Mohawk off all together. Anyway, Christian's hair has been cut back to "normal".

Now that Christian is in middle school, Band is a required class. The kids were allowed to request what instrument they wanted to play however they were told they might not get the instrument they request. Christian put in a request for the drums but he was chosen to play the Trombone instead (THANK GOD!). Christian was just as excited and he brings the Trombone home every evening and practices without fail. He seems to be really dedicated to learning how to play. For now we are renting the instrument from the school but if he is serious about playing after the year ends then I will look into purchasing one for him.
