A Time For An Easter Warning

Just so you all know, there is an increase of cute, fuzzy bunnies being purchased at Easter time and given to young children as pets. This is actually a terrible idea as Bunnies require A LOT of care. These animals become not so popular with the kids quickly when it comes down to taking care of the animal and a lot of them become abandoned or let loose to fend for themselves. Bunnies are sent to shelters and some even die out in the "wild" from being let go. If you happen to know of someone that is considering purchasing a bunny to give as a gift to a child, please ask them to reconsider unless THEY are prepared to take full care of the animal themself.

Skye's Field Trip

Today Skye's first grade class went on a field trip to the Museum of Science and I took the day off to tag along. We first went into the Imax theater and that was an awesome experience! It really freaked out Skye though. I had to remind her a few times that we are not moving lol. There were tons of things for the kids to do that were hands-on which made it a lot of fun for them. Skye had a great time.
