Skye does it again

Ok, so as I mentioned, I have been sick. Boy, what a nasty diet that was. I managed to get myself a nasty bacterial infection that caused my body to reject anything and everything I ate or drank for almost 4 days. Damn near landed myself in the hospital from it. On the flip side, I DID lose 10 pounds, woooo hooo! The doctor gave me good antibiotics and I am starting to feel much better now.

I have learned to always be prepared for whatever might come out of my daughter's mouth. Although this cracked me up, it is not for those with a weak stomach so consider yourself warned. Last night while wrapping my kid's Christmas presents for their teachers, my daughter comes running into my bedroom with a nose bleed. Knowing Miss Drama Queen herself had a self-inflicted nosebleed, I got her some tissue and told her that she needs to stop picking her nose to cause the bleeding. She proceeds to turn to me as serious as a 6 year old can possibly be and without skipping a beat she explains, "Mother, I do NOT pick my nose. My nose itches and when I put my finger inside my nose to scratch, sometimes a booger GRABS my fingernail!". I died laughing.
