Time for me to bitch

Ok, so I made a HUGE mistake yesterday when I said that it was a good day. Damn Karma! So I get home yesterday evening after work and I get a call from my bank that someone else has my credit card number and has been calling them to try to get my password info. GREAT. Someone is trying to use my credit card. So, of course we canceled that card right away and they are issuing me a new one. I talked to the police and all I need is a copy of a statement showing that they did in fact make a purchase with it to press charges. (I know who is using it.) I finally calm myself down last night and go to bed. I am woken up early this morning by my daughter and she informs me that there is water all over the kitchen floor. Come to find out that the seal tore on my 10-gallon fish tank and all the water got out, killing the fish (these were my son's fish, mind you). So, I had a mess and a crying son to deal with. AND THEN, we are heading out to door when I had to run back in the house real quick to get something. Skye had my car key so that she could go ahead and get in the car. Now, my car alarm automatically resets itself if the key is not put in the ignition after about 30 seconds of turning the alarm off. Skye apparently disarmed the alarm, set the key in the driver seat, and shut the door without her in the car. Needless to say, my key is sitting inside my locked car right now. It is now 9:50 am, my boss is not happy because I am at home, the locksmith is taking his sweet time to get here (which no one else could come earlier; I called every locksmith in the phone book), and the kids are late for school. *Sigh* Coors, take me away! Happy new year to me..... Ok, off the soap box now.

M.Y.O.T.D. (Eye Candy)

He is on my "Hot Bad-Boy" list but Russell Crowe is a hottie!

Not So Bad After All.

I am actually in a decent mood today; a lot better than what I predicted I would be in. I am working with Lyken as far as letting him stay out of his kennel through out the night. He has stayed out for the past 4 nights. He has done really well, not getting into anything he's not supposed to. Although, he is a big Momma's boy and has to sleep with me on my bed. He'll lay right next to me (he takes up half of my Queen-size bed as it is) until I fall asleep and then he moves to the end of the bed usually. However, last night he couldn't sleep I suppose and decided he wanted to play with me at 3 am! I almost had a dead dog on my hands. I was sleeping great when all of a sudden I realize there is a 100-pound dog sitting on my right arm and licking my hair at the same time. It's almost as if I am married all over again :) Other than that, I had a good night's rest. He is really turning into a great dog (when he sleeps). Since I have been letting him have more freedom in the house, he has gotten a lot more protective which I am glad for. Who needs a home security system?! Ha!

The aftermath

I hope everyone had a safe holiday. Tomorrow I return to work and the kids return to school after they have been off for 2 weeks. I am NOT looking forward to what tomorrow morning brings! Knowing me, I will probably be quite a grouch until my morning Frappuccino kicks in lol. Anyway, I hope that everyone else had a kick-ass new year's like I did :) Hello, 2006! Wooo Hooo!
