M.M.R. (My Movie Review)

I went to see this movie two weekends ago so I apologize for long overdue review. This movie was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. There was a lot more suspense and "color" to the story in the second Pirate's versus the first movie. Johnny Depp really puts life into Captain Sparrow's character and you get to see many more of the different facets of his personality. There are plenty of comedic moments in this one as well; Captain Jack Sparrow seems to have quite a knack for getting himself and everyone with him in some sticky situations.
There is a touch of romance included but not as much of a love story line as in the first. They slid the romance into sections but the story revolves more around two main character's pasts coming back to haunt them.
This one is rated PG-13 and I must give a parental warning that there are some moments that scared my 7 year old daughter. Some of the scenes even had me fly out of my seat which is hard to do since I am an avid horror film buff.
The acting was wonderful, the story line was awesome, the intensity was incredible. It was a well-spent movie night with the family. I definitely give Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest a big 'ol number 4!

These Are The Days Of Our Lives

Previously as most of you all know, I was planning on moving to Dallas. Well, for many reasons, that didn't happen. Then I filled out an app to move into a cute small townhouse a couple of streets over from where I currently live. WELL, some very unplanned things have popped into my life that have changed that as well. I was approved for the townhouse and the only thing left was for me to pay the deposit and sign the lease however the relationship I am in has gotten quite serious now. Bri (short for Brian) and I are deeply in love with one another and we want to be as close to each other as we possibly can. Bri currently lives near Lake Worth which is about 45 minutes North of me. I love the house he's staying in (it belongs to his step dad) so we talked at first about the kids and me moving in with him. After evaluating things, looking at expenses, locations, kid's schools, and how much property I have and he has, we have come to a conclusion that it would be best for Bri to move in with me after all. Due to some circumstances going on with his step dad we're not quite sure when he will move in with us but we both have a strong feeling it will be very soon. Bri will be closer to his kids living here with me and we're going to do some work on the house to fix it up which will help us save on rent as well. Things are really looking great. The kids couldn't be happier and they just adore Bri. They will move out of the master bedroom and Bri and I will paint the walls in all the bedrooms to spruce it up. We're going to get rid of my furniture (it's old) and buy new furniture. This means I will more than likely get to bring Lyken back home with me! I couldn't be any happier. I will keep everyone posted as things progress.

Y.O.T.D.

No explanation necessary for this man. He gets more than two thumb's up from me.... he qualifies for a full blown DAYUM!

Ok, assume the drool position! Mr Ryan Reynolds...
