My Phone Pictures Are Working Finally!

A few weeks ago I signed up with service with Metro PCS and I bought an awesome new Motorola cell phone with a camera built in. When I first got the service I was trying to take pictures with the phone and sending them to friends however they were not being received by anyone I sent them to. I later found out that the server that processed the photos was not working but by accident I found out the service is back up today. FINALLY something goes right for me this week! Oh, I finally got my rental car so I can get my "lady bug" fixed once and for all. One more thing to check off my list of to do things. YIPEEEEE!

Ladies' Day At The Races

Last month the company I worked for took all of our women customers to a day of fun at Lone Star Park for some gambling at the horse races. A picture was taken of all of us in the suites. These suites are just amazing and the food is so good! Here's the picture of me and my money before I lost it lol

A Funny For The Day

An old one but a funny one!

After every flight, pilots fill out a form called a gripe sheet, which conveys to the mechanics problems encountered with the aircraft during the flight that need repair or correction. The mechanics read and correct the problem, and then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken, and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual logged maintenance complaints and problems as submitted by Qantas pilots and the solution recorded by maintenance engineers. By the way, Qantas is the only major airline that has never had an accident.

(P = The problem logged by the pilot.)
(S = The solution and action taken by the engineers.)

P: Left inside main tyre almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tyre.

P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.

P: Something loose in cockpit.
S: Something tightened in cockpit.

P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order.

P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.

P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed.

P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level.

P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: That's what they're there for.

P: IFF inoperative.
S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.

P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right.

P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.

P: Aircraft handles funny.
S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious.

P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.

P: Mouse in cockpit.
S: Cat installed.

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.
S: Took hammer away from midget.

Hang on to those you love

Wow, what a long and draining week that has been so far and the week is only halfway over. I can only hope that the rest of the week will be downhill from here on. In the past two days, things have been said that I never thought would come out of my mouth and things have been heard that I never thought I would be told. All in all, a situation with one injured party has escalated to three injured parties. I hold myself responsible for the things that I am guilty of. One of my faults is that I always tend to do and say things I wish I could take back when in the heat of the moment. I'm sure that there are many others out there that have the same fault. Either way, it doesn't make those things hurt any less.

Today I have started a list of things that I will add to each day. The list is called "Today I am thankful for..." I have already filled out my answer for today. Today I am thankful for my family; my Mom, Dad, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and my sister Chris. These are loves that can never be replaced; these are bonds that can never be broken in my heart.

Another ass-kicking Monday

BLAH is all I can say about today. I'm not even sure why this day was ever created lol. Well, a lot was accomplished this weekend as far as the move is concerned. My garage is packed to the ceiling with furniture and knick-knacks of crap being sold by Melinda and myself. My step-dad Gary was a huge help in getting everything done. We worked our tails off Saturday and Sunday. There is some bad news, though.

Saturday evening my parent's full size Ford F150 truck (with my rugs still in the bed of the truck) was stolen right from their driveway. This truck was my Mother's means of transportation to and from her doctor appointments. Some people, I swear. If I didn't have a heart, I would cast a hex on them! Damnit, I believe in Karma and the Wiccan Rede too much though. Sometimes being good really sucks lol. Anyway, they had a topper that went to their truck that they can no longer use.

I have set up an add on ebay in hopes of selling the darn thing to raise some money towards getting her a new vehicle. You can view the add here. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please forward the add! Thanks and Blessed Be to all!
