A Wonderful Weekend

I had a great weekend for a change! I picked up Skye from her Dad's and I couldn't have been more excited to see her. Christian left and went to his Dad's for the day. Early on Saturday Skye and I went with my neighbor Kim and her son Presley to a swim park in Cleburne. It was great! The park is like a mini Hurricane Harbor and it only costs $6 per person to get in. They have water slides and all kinds of things to do there. Skye showed me how well she can swim now and I am so proud of her! She has also learned how to ride a bike without training wheels. We stayed there for about 3 hours. We left and on the way I called David, a good friend of mine, and we went over to his place to do some more swimming without the crowd. We spent about 3 more hours over there before i had to leave to pick up Christian. Kim and I took all the kids out to eat and then to see Underdog. We all had a great time. Sunday the kids woke me up so we all headed back over to David's for a full day of swimming and cooking out. It was a lot of fun. All the kids got a nice tan while I was burnt to a crisp. I spent most of last night screaming in pain as the softest sheets felt like pins and needles!

Before going to bed for the night, I took Skye back to her father's. While I was up in that area of town, I decided to drop on by a new friend's house whom I had spoken with many times but had yet to meet in person. She is going through a really difficult time right now, one which I completely understand all too well, and I am doing everything in my power to be a solid support for her. After spending 4 hours with her, I came to realize real quick what a wonderful and beautiful woman she is. I pray that she will find her strength again and I hope I am helping her along the way.

Anyway, I am at work suffering because I can't even move my arms so I better attempt to get some work done. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
